Hello! I am the Math Coach at CPES. My responsibilities include supporting teachers in their math instruction, planning and leading training sessions, and providing valuable resources that can help our students succeed in math. I also visit classrooms regularly to model instruction, co-teach, and work with small groups. In addition, I facilitate STEAM activities, such as arranging guest speakers and organizing STEAM Night.
I grew up in Springfield, attended Cheatham Park as a child, and graduated from Springfield High School. After graduating from Western Kentucky University, I taught elementary students for 29 years. This is my fourth year as the Math Coach at Cheatham Park. I'm very excited to continue working with students and teachers here in my community.
I enjoy spending time with family, attending church events, singing, hiking, and cheering for my children at their sporting events and performances.
